The meaning of Talatum is continuity. Something that is happening continuously has a 'talatum', a continuity. It can even be compared to its speed or rhythm.
i've once read in an urdu poetry forum that talatum means storm or the crashing of waves. and if i relate this meaning to the song talatum from aitraaz, it does make sense. it fits with the lyrics translation and visualization of the song.
