Shajar is an Urdu word which means a tree. The word is sometimes used in Hindi poetry/songs too.

Interpreting from these lines: "Tu ghadi do ghadi jahan baithe, wo zameen mehke, wo shajar mehke" it appears that "a stone" fits better to the meaning of the word than "a tree". What do you think??
