Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum
Ya Khuda kasam
Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum
Ya Allah Allah
Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum
Sach Teri Kasam
Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum
Ho Jahan Bhi Tum
Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat,
I swear to god,
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat,
Oh god, o god..
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat,
truly, I swear to you,
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat,
Wherever you are..
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat..
Chalte hain teri rahon mein
Jeete hain teri yadon mein
Bin tere ek pal bhi jeena mushkil
Ehsaas mein har baat mein bhi ho tum
I walk in your paths,
I live with your memories,
Without you it's difficult to live a moment..
You are there in every feeling, everything..
Duniya kya jaane re, kya hai deewanapan
Khushiyan hai saare, phir bhi kaisa yeh gum
Tanha magar, na jee payenge hum.
Har raah mein, Har manzil mein bhi tum..
haan allah kasam..
How would the world know what is madness,
all the joys are here, but still what sadness is here..
But all alone, I'll not be able to live..
You're there in every way, and every destination,
I swear to god..
Ek hi tamanna hai, tujhko hi paayen hum
Jaise andhera main, aur ho savera tum
Armaan mere phir bhi lagte hain kam
Har rang mein, har mehak mein bhi ho tum
haan allah kasam..
There is just one wish, that I get you..
Like I am darkness and you're the morning,
but still all my wishes feel less..
You're there in every color, in every fragrance..
I swear to god..
Chalte hain teri rahon mein
Jeete hain teri yadon mein
Bin tere ek pal bhi jeena mushkil
In badalo mein, taaro mein bhi tum
Haan allah kasam
Har saans mein Har dhadkan mein ho tum..
I walk in your ways,
I live with your memories,
without you it's tough to live for a moment..
you're there in these clouds and stars too..
I swear to god..
You are in every breath, in every heartbeat..

Dear Harshit: thank you so much for your work, it's awesome! I really love love love Raghu Dixit's music! I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, so English isn't my first language, and I only catch a few words in Hindi. Despite of this, I like to know the meaning of the songs. So, I'm trying very hard to understand a particular phrase, perhaps you could help me.
My doubt focuses in the meaning (I don´t know if sense is the correct way to say it) of the word "less" in this phrase:
"Armaan mere phir bhi lagte hain kam
but still all my wishes feel less.."
Is it used in terms of quantity or quality? Both directions are valid in the context of the sentence, but obviously not the same thing in poetic terms. I mean, if the wishes of this smitten man are few because he is obsessed, for example, or are little because he feels dwarfed by the idealized figure of the beloved. I feel Hindi is so rich in synonyms, even richer than Spanish, that most times it loses too much in its English translation.
I'll be checking your blog daily waiting for your answer. Thanks in advance!

I like dhadkan
Astarte was linked with mother goddesses of neighboring cultures, in her role as combined heavenly mother and each mother. Cult statues of Astarte in many different forms were left as votive offerings in shrines Professional translation and sanctuaries as prayers for good harvest, for children, and for protection and tranquility in the home.
