DeleteActually, it's NOT the same person. Karan Johar is the director of all of those movies, yes, but it's the music directors who are in charge of the songs. The previous music composers for K-Jo films have been Jatin-Lalit, Aadesh Shrivastav, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The music directors for SOTY are Vishal-Shekhar. I agree that it's definitely not a Suraj Hua Madham, but the songs truly isn't TOO bad. :)
