Chinnamma Chilakkamma part from Meenaxi - A Tale of 3 Cities, composed by A R Rahman.
aadha.. aadha adhoora
main to tere bina tere siva
soyi soyi meri subah
aasaan.. aasaan nahi hai maana
tera mera afsaana
ek doosre ko paana
I'm half, incomplete,
without you.
my mornings are as if, asleep
I admit that our story isn't easy,
to get each other..
chinnamma chilakkamma
dullu dullu dullu
chinnamma chilakkamma
sullu sullu sullu
chinnamma chilakkamma
i need you like you need me
chinnamma chilakkamma
girl you make me better
chinnamma chilakkamma
baby you complete me
chinnamma chilakkamma
you and me together
chinamma chinnamma
dullu dullu dullu
chinamma chinnamma
i need you like you need me
chinamma chinnamma..
chinamma chinnamma
[Chinnamma Chilakamma part is Telugu. However, the words after chinnamma chilakamma seem to have been changed. Chinnamma is Telugu for mother's sister (chinna=small/young, amma=mother), and chilaakkamma is a word used for parrot. In the original song from Meenaxi where it originated, chooRu-chooRu-chooRu was used. ChooDu/ChooRu means 'look.']
waada.. waada khud se hai mera
tere liye miT jaana
taqdeerein likh jaana
it's my promise to myself,
to end myself for you,
to write (our) fates..
aadha hoon main to adhoori tu bhi
hogi yoon hi hogi mere bina
aise kisko hai jeena…
I'm half, so you too would be
incomplete, just the same way, without me.
who wants to live like that?
chinnamma chilakkamma
i need you like you need me
chinnamma chilakkamma
girl you make me better
chinnamma chilakkamma
baby you complete me
chinnamma chilakkamma
you and me together
you and me together..
tasveerein hain, yaadein hain
khud se teri baatein hai
main aankhon ko bhar chala aise
lamhon ki saugaaton ko
mehki mehki raaton ko
naam tere main to kar chala
baby you complete me..
there are pictures, memories,
my talks with myself about you,
I have filled my eyes such that..
the gifts of those moments,
those fragrant nights,
I've given to you...
baby you complete me..
aasaan.. aasaan nahi hai maana
tera mera afsaana
ek doosre ko paana…
chinnamma chilakkamma
i need you like you need me
chinnamma chilakkamma
girl you make me better
chinnamma chilakkamma
baby you complete me
chinnamma chilakkamma
you and me together
aa bhi jaa, aa bhi jaa ek dafaa..
main jiyoon saans loon ik dafaa…
ik dafa..
ek dafa..
come, come for once,
so that I live, I breathe for once,
for once...
chinnamma chilakkamma
chinnamma chilakkamma
ek dafaa..

It's actually Chinnamma Chilakamma Nillu Nillu Nillu, Saelamma Selayamma Sollu Sollu Sollu. These are Tamil wordings not Telugu. The meanings for Chinnamma and Chilakamma is correct however Nillu means 'stop/wait', Saelamma means 'beloved', Selayamma means 'a woman who looks like a statue' (shapely figure) and Sollu means 'say/speak'. These verses were used in a song in the Tamil film, Sakkarakatti and also in Ek Dafaa however, these verses are in Telugu in the Hindi film Meenaxi which goes like this, Chinnamma Chilakkamma Choodu Choodu Chhodu, Seetamma Bujjamma Aadu Aadu Aadu. :)
